IMPORTANT INFO: 2026/27 AGE GROUP CHANGES

Beginning with the 2026/27 seasonal year, Mississippi Soccer Association (MSA), in alignment with US Youth Soccer, will transition to a school-year age grouping system based on an August 1 – July 31 birthdate cycle.

This change was made to better align players with their classmates and friends, promote stronger team continuity, and create a more consistent developmental environment for youth athletes. The updated age grouping structure also helps reduce the number of players who become separated from their school peers due to birthdate cutoffs.

At East Central Soccer Club, our goal is to provide the best possible experience for every player and family. We understand that some players may move to a different age division than they expected, but this change is designed to support long-term player development, retention, and enjoyment of the game.

Fall 2026 Season Information

REGISTRATION ENDS ON AUGUST 15th!!

SPRING SEASON DATES:

First Game - September 5th

End of Season - November 14th

Practices are Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday (Coach to determine days of practice)

ECSC Boo Bash Tournament - November 24th (Tenative Date)

SEASON INFORMATION:

GAMES - Fall Season

Games start on Saturday, September 5th.
There will be at least (1) Inner Club tournament that will be scheduled and will be played at our club.
Most games are on Saturdays unless there is a coaching conflict.

Practices - Fall Season

Practices are scheduled to start at the late August after registration has completed and coaches assigned.
Practices are setup by the coach.
They could be once to twice a week at the coaches discretion.
Please discuss with the coach if you have any conflicts.

UNIFORM - Order anytime at the following link: Uniforms
Shin Guards
Socks - Extra pair for practice. Any Color.
Cleats - Must be soccer cleats. Football cleats are not allowed.
Ball - Soccer Ball for practices.

U6 - 10 Minute Quarters | 2 Minute Break | 5 Minute Halftime - 4 Quarters - 4v4

U8 - 10 Minute Quarters | 2 Minute Break | 5 Minute Halftime - 4 Quarters - 5v5

U10 - 12 Minute Quarters | 2 Minute Break | 5 Minute Halftime - 4 Quarters - 7v7

U12 - 15 Minute Quarters | 2 Minute Break | 5 Minute Halftime - 4 Quarters - 9v9

U14 - 15 Minute Quarters | 2 Minute Break | 5 Minute Halftime - 4 Quarters - 11v11

U16 - 25 Minute Half | 5 Minute Halftime - 2 Halves (7v7)

Games

Most games are on Saturdays unless there is a coaching conflict.
ECSC will playing all teams in a local tournament at our fields.
